The Ascophyllum nodosum seaweed used to produce Algaemar^® is recognized for its high content of natural phytohormones, osmoprotectants, and bioactive compounds.

Its foliar application in orange trees enhances floral induction and differentiation through the action of cytokinins, auxins, and gibberellins, regulating hormonal balance and promoting uniform and high-quality flowering.

Additionally, its supply of essential micronutrients optimizes pollen viability and reduces premature flower drop, positively impacting fruit set and overall crop yield.

The bioactive compounds in Algaemar^® also strengthen orange tree resilience against abiotic stress, minimizing the effects of extreme temperatures and water deficit by improving osmotic regulation.

Depending on crop needs, it is recommended to apply Algaemar^® at a dose of 150 to 200 cc/hl (approximately 1.2 to 3 L/ha) via foliar spraying, with a minimum spray volume of 800 to 1000 L/ha in orange trees, during two key growth stages:
