The key to improving flowering and fruit set in olive trees is: BM Flor.
<
Flowering is a key stage in determining olive production. Proper nutritional management at this moment favors flower functionality and improves fruit set. In this context, supplying boron through foliar applications with BM Flor® helps support the crop during one of the most important moments of its cycle.
In olive trees, flowering is one of the most decisive stages of the productive cycle. The number of inflorescences the tree is able to develop, the viability of the flowers and the subsequent fruit set largely determine the final production of the season.
During the weeks prior to flower opening, the crop undergoes intense physiological activity. In this period, key processes are completed such as the development of floral structures, pollen formation and the mechanisms that allow fertilization. For this reason, providing nutritional support to the crop at this stage is essential to promote functional flowering and good fruit set.

BM Flor® is a foliar formulation designed to support the crop from the stages prior to flowering through fruit set. Its composition combines boron and molybdenum on an organic base of brown algae, promoting rapid and efficient absorption by the plant.
Boron is key in olive flowering, as it is involved in flower formation, pollen germination and the fertilization process. Molybdenum participates in the plant’s metabolic activity and nitrogen utilization, supporting the crop’s physiological development. The brown algae base provides natural compounds that stimulate plant activity during this phase of high demand.
Applied during the pre-flowering period, BM Flor® allows these micronutrients to be supplied directly to the active tissues of the crop, coinciding with a phase of high physiological demand. It integrates easily into standard olive grove management strategies, contributing to improved nutritional conditions during floral development.

In certain situations, such as soils with low boron availability, seasons with high productive load, or the presence of symptoms associated with boron deficiency, it may be advisable to reinforce boron supply in the treatment prior to flowering.
In these cases, BM Flor® can be complemented with an additional boron source, such as boron ethanolamine, which helps increase the availability of this element during floral development and thus favors the processes associated with flowering and fruit set.
It is recommended to apply BM Flor® at pre-flowering, when inflorescences begin to develop and the crop enters a phase of high physiological activity. A complementary application at the beginning of fruit set may also be carried out if crop conditions require it. The recommended foliar application rate is 200 to 300 cc/hl of water. In situations where additional boron is required, it can be complemented with boron ethanolamine at 100 to 150 cc/hl of water. Depending on crop conditions and orchard management, one or two applications may be carried out, approximately 10–15 days apart.

The key to improving flowering and fruit set in olive trees is: BM Flor®.
In conclusion, providing nutritional support to olive trees during pre-flowering and fruit set is essential to promote functional flowering and improve the productive potential of the crop. In this context, BM Flor® supplies specific nutrients at a strategic moment in the crop cycle, helping to optimize physiological processes related to fertilization and early fruit development, thus contributing to more consistent olive production.
